Doodleplex continues

Let the stitching begin!

I decided I'd take another crack at shading.

So far so good.

Still okay-ish. 

Put in some extra stitches to specify the petals (though, if you look closely enough, you can see I made a boo boo >_< )

I also decided to try an outline to better define the outline of the last color.

Granted, it could be better, but I think it's good for a beginner!
