Hi everybody. 

I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but I've been settling into North Carolina and been busier than I have been in a really long time. 

Sadly, I haven't done any embroidery, or any form of needle anything, and I probably won't be able to for a while. I had to leave all of my supplies back in Cancun.

But I'll hopefully be able to get new ones!

The first three rounds of Evelyn's Doily are now up! 

For those of you who have followed the incredible saga (which, according to my oh so official records has lasted almost two years!) you can understand how entirely epic this is. Through blood, sweat, tears, and migraines, this doily, marking my early beginnings in the world of tatting, has finally come to fruition!

I also went a little computer happy... and decided to make something of it.

Finally!

I started designing Anna's doily way back when in September. At the time, my goal had been to finish it before my dad went to the States, so he could give it to my sister, Anna. 

Unfortunately, plans changed and I wasn't able to finish it in time--but when I finally had, I was able to make the pattern. 

A few days ago, I finished said pattern--the very first thing I'd ever seriously designed.

And today I listed it!

As you may have noticed, I have recently opened up an Etsy store (imagine an arrow pointing to the widget), and that Etsy store may have rounds 1-4 of a certain doily... 

However! Round 5 & 6 were thus far unaccounted for. 

Until now.

(Bum bum bum buuuuuuuuum)

Thanks to Anna's Doily (Blue Edition), I am happy to announce that I have now finished the pattern for the last two rounds of Anna's Doily! 

They'll be going up on my Etsy shop this Friday, the 3rd day of May of the year 2013!

Busy busy day!

I moved today! All the way across Cancun to practically the other side of the city. The good thing is that this other side of the city is waaaay closer to where all the action happens and not practically out in the jungle where I used to live. 

Funny thing that happens with that is that my internet network was turned off right as I was getting ready to deliver the orders that I'd had overnight (yes, orders!!! =D ). 

Good news was that the place we were moving to already had internet --> bad news, I had to deliver those orders waaaay later than I would've liked to =( 

Anywho, I did get the orders sent off =D So yay!

I have finished Day 10 of the TIAS (a little late, I know), but I'm working on it!

The good thing is that my chemistry class didn't know what hit it.

Day 6! And Yay!

Sunday was a rough day, for no particular reason other than I woke up and felt like a walking zombie. My mom was the same way--so it wasn't just me being lazy. 

However, I did manage to tat up Day 6 of TIAS before my headache kicked in.

I honestly don't know what's wrong with me... that's like twice in the past week that I've woken up completely sapped of energy =S 

Anywho, aside from that...

I'VE OPENED UP MY ETSY SHOP

My very first listing is the first four rounds of Anna's Doily. 

Now, all I have to do is get Chrome to start working right so I can get my etsy widget up =D 

I might have to change my blog look, though... hmmm
