I must admit that I haven't been doing too much in the way of stitching anything lately. I've been trying, but I've had a few more things going on and I haven't really had the time or the energy... Netflix marathons notwithstanding ^_^
But, I did try to get a little done here and there:

I wanted to finish the stripe around the shading, but then I realized that the bottom wing overlaps this wing differently, bringing me back to the "background first" thing.
As you can see, I barely noticed it in time.
