So basically, I've had a busy couple weeks.
In school, I caught a bit of a break with a couple of relatively easy classes that I finished faster than I thought I would. However, that also gave me no choice but to venture towards the last hurdle I must clear before finishing high school.
Or rather, last several hurdles... >_< I am now approaching the block of the hardest classes in my entire program.
Goodie.
-_-
Anywho, since those two classes gave me a little breathing room, I was able to work on Blueburry.
And check it out!
It took me a while to get a good scan of it because I was having trouble with the color. By itself, it looked almost black and it was hard to edit it to show the colors right--buuuut, after two weeks of some serious brain crunching, it finally occurred to me that I could just use the same background that I use to take pictures of it... -_-
Now, I'd like to say that though Minty and Blueburry have thus far been featured as repeatable motifs, I am not opposed to the idea of adding rounds and making them into doilies.
...I just haven't exactly gotten around to it >_<.
But I will soon!
I'm also working on the charts and pattern for that last two rounds of Anna's Doily! Aaaand I just finished dyeing my very first batch of hand painted thread!
So stay tuned!
^_^
